Charles Iner is an Atlanta-based (recently relocated from Boston) lutenist, guitarist, educator, and basso continuo performer. He received an MM in Historical Performance at Boston University, where he was awarded a departmental award for outstanding excellence in 2020, and a BA in Music Performance from Benedictine College. Active as both an accompanist and solo performer, Charles made his solo concert debut in November 2024 as a part of Pegasus Early Music’s Pegasus Rising series, and NYS Baroque’s Rising Artists concert series. Previous ensemble performances include concerts with Emmanuel Music, Pandora Consort, Nightingale Vocal Ensemble, Cappella Clausura, and Ars Sonora Atlanta, as well as chamber ensemble concerts with various collaborators at such venues as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Cambridge and Boston Public Libraries, and the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston. He currently serves as music director at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in McDonough, GA.
